ABOUT US
XPLabs was founded by Francesco Cirillo in 1999 as an innovative business centered around XP and Agile methods.
Our company mission is to improve the profitability of our clients' business using Agile Methods. To achieve this objective, we work closely with both managers and operative teams to transform companies processes and principles according to the values of agile methods.
Over the last 10 years we have diversified and launched many new activities geared both to business and individuals:
agilemethods.eu is the XPLabs branch for education and training. We offer a calendar of courses and training programs that can be tailored to individual needs. Our courses provide proven, real-world applications based on years of direct experience consulting and mentoring in a variety of business sectors (industry, telecommunication, banking, etc.). Our commitment to excellence is guaranteed by our instructors: a pool of internation experts headed by Francesco Cirillo.
The Pomodoro Technique™ is a method of time management created by Francesco Cirillo. Using the technique can turn time a valuable ally to accomplish what we want to do and chart continuous improvement in the way we do it. The original Pomododro Technique can be downloaded free from the Pomodoro Website, which also hosts related resources and a schedule of upcoming workshops.
The Anti-IF Campaign is a campaign for software developers. The purpose of the campaign is to raise developer's awareness about the effective use of the basic principles of Object-Oriented Design. Programmers can achieve more effective results in terms of flexibility, communicability, testability and greater software evolution. The website hosts useful articles for download, gathers subscribers to the campaign and provides updates on Workshops related to the campaign such as the Emergent Design Workshop.
Our XPLabs Collaborative Engineering Center is world's first center based on XP. The center has played host to leaders in the agile world such as Ward Cunningham and Joshua Kerievsky.
